Part-Time Evening Receptionist

Lager Counseling Services is seeking a warm, reliable, and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Evening Front Desk Coordinator in our clinician setting. The role will be based in either Wantagh or Bellmore location. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and valuable life experience who enjoys working in a supportive, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate brings maturity, empathy, and a calm presence to the front desk and is comfortable using basic technology (email, scheduling software). The ideal person for this role should also have some prior customer service, receptionist, or office experience (a plus, not required). Most of all, they should be dependable, organized, and respectful of client privacy We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, especially those with diverse life and work experiences. Training will be provided.

- 4:00 PM (as needed) Ideal for candidates seeking a part-time evening receptionist or front desk job in healthcare or behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and screening clients in a warm,polite, professional manner Answer multi-line phone system and take messages Introduce the practice to inquiring clients via phone call and email Schedule and confirm client appointments using our software Maintain therapist schedules Schedule initial phone intake assessments with our Placement Specialist Process client billing and collect payments from clients Work with our Billing Specialist to assist in answering client questions regarding payment, copays, deductibles and fees Maintain a clean and organized office environment at all times Open and/or close the building, manage all areas of comfort, climate, lighting, orderliness, assuring that the building is client and clinician ready Must present well, be easy going and down to earth yet have a professional appearance. Must follow our business casual dress code Must be responsive to both the clients needs and the clinicians support going above and beyond to ensure that the office runs smoothly. Qualifications:
Receptionist or administrative experience preferred (especially in healthcare or mental health settings) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multi-task , stay organized, and prioritize during busy hours Punctual , reliable, and highly professional Friendly and bubbly personality with excellent customer service skills Must be a team player with a kind and compassionate demeanor Basic computer and office technology skills Willing to be trained on in-house systems and procedures Why Work With Us?
