Receptionist / Front Desk for 24 Hour Crisis Center 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Valley Stream, NY 11580 We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and energetic Receptionist/Front Desk to join our team at the NHCC 24-Hour Crisis Center in Valley Stream. Full-time/Part-time positions available. The Receptionist/Front Desk ensures that a personable and professional environment is maintained in all aspects of the program, which is necessary for the facility’s smooth and orderly operation. Positive and courteous interactions with clients, staff, and other community agencies are essential to this job. The successful candidate provides front desk support for the_ Valley Stream Crisis Clinic in this role _. Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following: General office responsibilities (answer phones/take messages, scan, fax, copy, etc.) Greet/direct clients and visitors upon arrival Check clients in and out on the electronic health record system Provide support to the clinical team and chart maintenance Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Perform other related duties as assigned The right candidate must be flexible , experienced in outpatient settings, and possess excellent telephone and interpersonal skills. We seek motivated and assertive individuals willing to grow with the company. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communications skills Strong customer service skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Weekend and/or overnight/evening shifts required Qualified candidates must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively.
