Front Desk Receptionist The Medbery Day Spa 48 Front Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Overview We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls and manage questions and with excellent phone etiquette. Process payments, handle cash transactions, and complete payroll Assist with retail sales and up-selling spa products/service add-ons Utilize salon software for booking appointments and managing client information Complete basic cleaning duties like laundry, cleaning tubs after soaks, mopping, etc. Maintain an organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with clients, stylists, and other team members Requirements Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Excellent organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Excel is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work independently while being a team player. Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is preferred but not required The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in a fast-paced spa environment.
