Radiology Department Receptionist 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 101 Dates Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850 Radiology Receptionist – Full-Time Cayuga Health System began by joining two longstanding, independent hospitals into a cohesive health-care network providing seamless, comprehensive, community centered care for the residents of central New York. The Radiology Receptionist performs clerical duties in the radiology department of a health facility. Their job duties include greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, answering the phone, patient registration, chart preparation, and other clerical work as required.
Role and Responsibilities:
Meet and greet patients Answering phones in a timely manner; takes messages and provides information in a professional manner. Answering client questions and providing instructions Manage the smooth running of the reception area Maintain and ensure waiting room area is tidy and presentable Keep work area and dressing rooms clean, organized and stocked with appropriate supplies All other reception and administrative duties as assigned Provide excellent customer service Maintains professional, considerate and congenial work relationships with co-workers Observes strict rules of patient confidentiality Maintains accurate patient records Observe policies and guidelines
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma 1-2 years customer service skills Oral and writing communication skills Computer skills with knowledge of
Microsoft Office Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/sit for long periods while performing duties and responsibilities.

Shift:
Full-Time Days. Anticipated Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, with ability to flex on occasion if requested. 0% – 5% Local Travel can be expected in this role
Pay Range Disclosure:
