Front Desk Receptionist Hong Ik Martial Arts of Bronxville 45 Kraft Avenue, Bronxville, NY 10708 Part-Time Front Desk Team Member Bronxville, NY | Thriving Martial Arts School in the heart of Bronxville with over 200 students – 2025 Winner of Best Martial Arts School named by Westchester Magazine We are seeking a warm, organized, and computer-proficient team member to support our front desk operations. This is a part-time position with potential for growth, perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with families and working in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment.

Schedule:

Main Days Required:

Monday & Friday | 3:30 PM – 7:30

PM Optional Additional Hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (if desired)

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist students (ages 4 to adult) and parents with professionalism and warmth Follow directions, retain key information, and multitask efficiently Communicate clearly and courteously in person and via email Create professional documents (flyers, emails, brochures, applications) using Word, Excel, Canva, Outlook, and Gmail Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby environment Schedule classes and manage student registrations Ensure smooth communication among staff, managers, and Master Instructor Handle general office duties such as filing, copying, and responding to inquiries Maintaining memberships, renewals, attendance, and absences

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, and Canva Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Friendly, hospitable demeanor; enjoys working with children and families Ability to stay focused and calm in a busy setting

BONUS:

Previous office manager, receptionist, or Taekwondo Practitioner or Martial Arts experience
