Front Desk Assistant (Temporary) Slippery Rock Campground Slippery Rock, PA 16057 The SRCA is a Membership owned gated Campground consisting of over 1000 sites and multiple amenity locations in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania just a short drive off the 105 Exit off I-79. This role would be responsible for addressing inquiries and concerns at the Front Desk from walk-ins and phone calls, supporting the Admin Assistants and Campground Manager, as well as assisting with day-to-day clerical tasks such as bank deposits, member transactions, and filing of paperwork, sensitive information, and receipts. The Front Desk Assistant role is a temporary seasonal role that lasts between April 1st and September 1st. Should a successful candidate demonstrate exemplary performance there is likelihood to be asked to return to the role the following year or be promoted to a permanent position should one become available. This season, as we are searching to fill this role later than anticipated, a successful candidate would begin as soon as possible and would be employed until September 1st, 2025. A successful applicant would be someone who approaches each situation with a resolution-based attitude, can prioritize and follow through on tasks, and can take initiative when they recognize an issue or are presented with an issue.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have a Valid Driver’s License Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check (as conducted by the SRCA), a PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Fingerprinting Clearance, and a Drug Test. Proficiency in the following applications or equipment: Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, General Office Equipment (Computer, Printer, Copier, Labeller, Multi-Line Phone etc) Schedule Four Six Hour Days (24 hrs/week): Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10am – 4:30pm Three Mondays are required, July 7th, July 29th, and Sept 1st in addition to your regular Thursday – Sunday schedule.

Pay Information :

Starting at $18/hr but can be negotiated based on experience. Responsibilities The responsibilities outlined below are a general scope of the role and includes a generic outlook of what your day-to-day tasks would look like. Carry out petty cash, check, and card transactions, provide information, schedule appointments, and respond to requests, inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner. Address each concern with professionalism, patience, and empathy. Answer and/or direct phone calls, email contact, and voicemail messages. Conduct permitting, appointment scheduling, and other requests according to Campground Office procedure. Issue campwide, sectionwide, or committee-specific announcements using DialMyCalls to keep the Membership informed. Daily bank deposit preparation and weekly bank deposit transport. Twice daily counting and reconciling of petty cash. Maintain Member files and prepare them for any campground processes such as hearings, transfers, and name changes. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Order supplies and correspond with vendors on behalf of The Office and at the request of committees and other campground departments (Security & Maintenance). Take accurate and concise notes from campground members and staff and communicate them to the appropriate resource. Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Campground Manager.
