Woodside Part-Time Weekend Receptionist Basic Job Responsibility:

Present a positive first impression of The Reserve Club’s friendliness, unwavering hospitality, and high standards!

Responsibilities:

Promptly and politely greets and welcomes all visitors who arrive at the club. Directs visitors and callers to the appropriate staff member utilizing employee and department directories. Maintains full knowledge of the administrative staff, ownership, and the country club. Using a multi-line telephone, answers, and appropriately routes all incoming calls for various business departments with courtesy, speed, and accuracy. Presents a professional, courteous demeanor when notifying personnel. Provides general and accurate information regarding routine inquiries from members, and refers non-routine, sensitive, and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the Office Manager. Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer inquiries, complaints, or disputes. Ensure reception area is tidy, clutter free and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures.) Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail deliveries. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (member systems, dining reservations, and guest passes.) Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, transcribing, data entry and record keeping. Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, and in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements/Pay:

High School Graduate or GED Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional customer service skills Well organized, dedicated, reliable, and flexible A self-starter capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing Strong computer skills with emphasis on MS Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Internet Ability to take initiative in completing assigned work projects Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, task-oriented projects, and details simultaneously Ability to work independently and collaboratively with numerous personality types Must possess ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must possess patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, members, guests, visitors, vendors, and the general public in a fast paced environment Has full knowledge of the administrative staff, ownership, and management company

Work Hours Saturday:

9:00 AM – 6:00

PM Sunday:

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Reports to: Reports directly to the Membership Director, Assistant Manager, and, ultimately to the General Manager.
