Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional service while ensuring the smooth operation of front desk and office activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-maintained by coordinating facility upkeep and managing supplies.
  • Schedule and organize meetings and events, including reserving spaces, arranging catering, and preparing materials.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, document preparation, and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of office inventory and place orders for supplies as required.
  • Assist in coordinating office repairs and liaise with vendors to address facility-related issues.
  • Contribute to a positive office atmosphere by supporting team members and fostering effective communication. Requirements
  • Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or facility coordination role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and practices is preferred.
