This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service to pet owners while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess strong communication skills, allowing them to effectively interact with clients and their pets. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date. Process payments and manage medical collections as needed. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal handling and restraint during examinations. Provide information to clients regarding pet care, services offered, and follow-up procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, addressing client concerns promptly. Support the team with administrative tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of animal anatomy, care, and husbandry practices is beneficial. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and veterinary critical care procedures is a plus. Proficiency in animal handling, restraint techniques, and grooming practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
