We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team who will bring their accounting expertise and excellent customer service skills to support a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Position Overview :
The Accountant and Receptionist will play a key role in the daily operations of Marathon Village, ensuring smooth communication and efficient financial management. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and will also handle accounting functions and various other administrative duties as needed. This is a hands-on position that requires multitasking, flexibility, and a “can-do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities :
Receptionist Duties :
Greet visitors and answer inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals. Answer and direct phone calls, handle email inquiries, and provide information as necessary. Maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere at all times. Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
Accounting Duties :
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner. Assist with monthly financial reports, budgets, payroll, and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and assist with audits as needed.
General Support :
Assist with ad-hoc projects, orders, or tasks as needed. Help organize events or meetings for staff and visitors. Maintain office organization and ensure the smooth operation of daily business.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping required. Strong knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, etc.). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to be flexible and adapt to different tasks and challenges as they arise.
Physical Requirements :
