OFFICE ASSISTANT PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY
The Speech & Hearing Center is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated part-time employee eager to learn about our organization by assisting the front desk with administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
(BUT
NOT LIMITED TO
): Answer phones and serve as initial contact with patients in the office. Promptly check in patients with the expectation they will be ready to see clinicians on time with any paperwork completed. Check out patients and collect payments. Schedule appointments and input initial patient contact and insurance data. Research and resolve payment issues, working closely with billing. Handle incoming referrals. Prepare and send paperwork in advance of new patient appointments. Check postal mail and voicemail and return phone calls. Send appointment reminders and reschedule patients, as needed. Complete weekly bank deposit. Perform weekly server backup and daily billing sync. Learn internal operations and identify areas for process and customer experience improvements. Perform other general office duties, as needed, including file maintenance, organizational projects, data entry, maintaining front lobby spaces, ordering office supplies, etc.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Entry-level professional or student majoring in business, nonprofit management or like program Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office business suite, as well as the ability to learn medical practice management software
