Every weekend, we’re a lifeline for families navigating urgent, unexpected moments with their pets. We’re seeking a Part-Time, Weekend Morning Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Coordinator

• CSR) to join our compassionate, fast-paced team.

What You’ll Do As our Weekend CSR, you’ll be the welcoming face and steady presence that helps guide clients through emergency or specialty visits. You’ll play a critical role in communication, comfort, and coordination. Client Engagement Greet clients warmly and compassionately during check-in and check-out. Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide timely updates to pet parents. Clearly explain procedures, policies, and follow-up steps in an approachable way. Administrative & Financial Tasks Handle payments, invoices, and estimates accurately using our point-of-sale system. Ensure records and financial documents are complete and confidential. Support accurate and efficient documentation in patient medical records. Support & Coordination Communicate seamlessly with our clinical teams to ensure timely care. Help schedule specialty consultations and follow-up visits. Keep the reception area organized and welcoming. ✅ What We’re Looking For Experience Prior experience in a veterinary or human medical setting is highly preferred . Familiarity with emergency or specialty veterinary care is a strong plus. Skills Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, sometimes emotional environment. Comfortable with technology, POS systems, and multitasking. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in a veterinary or medical-related field is a plus. Attributes Compassionate, empathetic, and dependable. Self-motivated and team-oriented. Flexible, especially for weekend and potential holiday shifts. Part-Time Position Weekend Morning Shifts (Saturday & Sunday) Flexibility for holiday coverage is appreciated. • Knoxville Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville is an AAHA Accredited, premier referral and emergency veterinary hospital.

We have an emergency and critical care unit that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have a variety of board-certified surgeons and specialists at AESC who treat a wide range of veterinary orthopedic, oncology, thoracic, abdominal, and soft-tissue conditions. Our team includes over 20 compassionate and highly trained Licensed Veterinary Technicians, numerous veterinary assistants, other support staff, and supportive administration. We have the latest specialized surgery and diagnostic instrumentation and equipment including 16-slice CT scanner, Vivid iQ echocardiogram platform, digital radiology, ultrasound systems, fluoroscopy unity, endoscopy, high-def Storz tower with new laparoscopic equipment, Arthrex equipment, LigaSure, Autocon III, Storz Ho-YAG laser, Synthes locking plates, and ESF equipment. In 2025, we will be completing our 20,000-square-foot specialty expansion and we will be adding Neurology, Cardiology, and other specialists to our team, as well as a new MRI scanner, CT scanner, linear accelerator, IR suite with ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy, and surgical suites measuring at least 18′ x 18′.
