Responsibilities:

As an Optician Technician, you may: Assist patients with eyewear selection, lens education and fittings Take precise optical measurements and handle eyewear dispenses/adjustments/repairs Submit, track and verify optical lab orders Conduct pre-testing and support the doctor during exams Educate patients on proper eyewear and contact lens care Schedule, confirm and manage appointments efficiently Verify vision insurance benefits and handle billing tasks Facilitate check-in and check-out procedures Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in an optometric or optical setting (minimum 1 year preferred) Familiarity with EHR systems and optical terminology is a plus Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask and switch between roles as needed A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service
