General Functions and Scope:
Greets customers in a friendly manner and directs to appropriate department. Answers phone, screens calls, takes messages.
Primary Responsibilities:
Answers phones in a timely manner. Screens calls and takes messages when sales/parts/service is with customers or on the phone. Keep track of sales/phone ups. If customer requests specific salesperson, asks if customer would like to wait in sales area until salesperson is available. Offer a refreshment. Texts salesperson to inform of a waiting customer. Maintains orderly sales area, waiting area and breakroom a couple of times a day. Order brochures when supplies are low. Checks the mail daily and routes to General Manager. Mails tags for Title Clerk. Updates employee emails and phone lists. Assembles customer goody bags. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to limit the duties of the position to the examples contained herein.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail Strong customer service skills Ability to use telephone Ability to maintain effective and positive relationships with dealership personnel
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Experience in an RV or auto dealership preferred
Physical Requirements:
Office environment requiring prolonged sitting/standing and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as necessary.
