What Reception contributes to Cardinal Health Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities. Reception is responsible for receiving, greeting and directing customers and other visitors. Job Summary The Senior Receptionist greets visitors to the organization’s facilities and contributes to Cardinal Health’s customer service reputation through interactions with current and prospective clients. This job answers phone calls and prepares conferences rooms, visitor badges, and other materials in advance of meetings. The Senior Receptionist also manages catering for events in the facility and routine ordering of office supplies. Responsibilities Located in the entrance to the facility, greets external and internal visitors, such as clients, vendors, contractors, temporary employees, and job candidates. Records visitor arrivals and makes contact with internal team members to receive visitors. Prepares conferences rooms, visitor badges, name cards, and other materials in advance of planned meetings. Manages the booking of main meeting spaces and conferences rooms. Contacts technology support when equipment is not functioning properly or additional equipment is needed. Manages catering for meetings and other events, including ordering food, set up, and clean up. Maintains stock of food and beverages in break rooms near main conference rooms. Answers incoming telephone calls on the organization’s main line and routes them to the proper team, including Customer Service, Client Relations, and Sales. Answers basic questions about the organization and facility as appropriate. Makes reoccurring orders of office supplies and completes purchasing card reconciliation at the end of each month. Performs clerical duties related to reoccurring meetings, such as monthly town halls, and other administrative duties as requested. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience, preferred High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently May modify process to resolve situations Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members Anticipated hourly range: $17.90 per hour – $25.60 per hour.
