Dog Bather/Receptionist Pampered Pooches Grooming and Boarding 1310 Cherokee Circle, Sevierville, TN 37876 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to pet owners. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets are clean, comfortable, and well-groomed while maintaining a positive experience for both the animals and their owners. Duties Bathe, dry, and groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. Handle animals safely and humanely during bathing and grooming processes. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a safe environment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming requirements. Assist in monitoring the health and behavior of pets during their stay, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff as necessary. Support kennel operations by helping with animal handling, restraint, and care as needed. Maintain accurate records of services provided for each pet. Requirements Previous experience in pet care, such as kennel work, pet sitting, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Experience in animal handling and restraint techniques is highly desirable. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
