POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionist position is the first voice our customers hear when call in to Top Rx. Along with answering/directing a multi-line switchboard, the person in this position will greet visitors, produce daily reports for our management team and other departments, and perform light administrative tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner. Log information on calls received where required. Maintain and update continuously, a log of the staffs’ availability in order to direct inbound calls. File data and perform routine administrative duties as assigned. Order and maintain office supplies within established budget. Act as liaison between customers/suppliers/visitors and staff, respond clearly and effectively to spoken request on the phone as well as in person. Operate various standard office equipment to perform effectively in this position i.e. personal computer, fax machine, copy machine, receptionist phone, and calculator. Establish and promote team cohesiveness with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public. Provides administrative support that includes preparing and reviewing reports and incorporating “Best Practices.” Monitor all activity to ensure policies are followed.

Requirements:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required. 2+ years customer service experience. Detail oriented with a high level of organization, prioritization, and time management skills. Comfortable with multitasking and managing a heavy workload. In addition, some excel skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Competency Statement(s) Professionalism
