Communication Operator Signature Shield Auto Glass Sarasota, FL 34243 Job Summary The Communications Operator plays a vital role in ensuring effective communication within the organization and with our customers and our technicians. This position involves managing incoming and outgoing communications, providing clerical support, and facilitating dispatching activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and computer skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and coordinating with the field technicians. Reschedule work orders, if needed, to appropriately fit the customer and techincian’s schedules. Assist in dispatching communications effectively to ensure timely responses. Utilize phone etiquette to maintain professionalism in all interactions. Type correspondence and documentation accurately as required. Collaborate with team members to enhance communication processes within the organization. Order any and all parts needed per specific work order requirements. Utilize CRM software to manage our customer’s profiles. Requirements Proven experience in a communications is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism. Familiarity with phone systems and dispatching protocols is advantageous. Ability to type efficiently with attention to detail. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable but not required, enhancing our ability to serve diverse populations. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional service to both internal teams and external contacts.
