Job Description

Switchboard

  • Customer Service at MaineHealth in Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Description
  • Part time benefited position
    The location of this position will be a combination of working at Brighten Medical Center, Portland and Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Schedule:

Switchboard at Brighton Medical Thursday 3 pm

  • 8 pm and Friday 8:00 am
  • noon and Maine Medical Center Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am
  • 4:00pm.

A switchboard operator will be required to respond to an influx of telephone calls from both internal and external callers. The switchboard operator assists callers by answering the call in a timely and professional manner and connecting them to the correct person or department.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

License/Certifications:

N/A

Experience:

One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
