Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, 2 years of Real Estate experience in a Law Firm or a Title Company. The ideal candidate must be punctual, detail oriented, responsible, trustworthy and highly motivated. The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Manage files from opening to post closing (including recording of documents)
- Communicating with lenders, realtors, sellers and buyers
- Draft Closing Disclosures, ALTA settlement statements and balance escrow
- Clear title issues with minimal supervision but assistance will be provided if needed.
- Draft seller’s documents
- Draft curative documents
- Understand LLC’s Operating Agreement and corporation and all necessary documents when dealing with an LLC or a corporation as a Seller or as a Buyer are a plus.
- Read Surveys and understand encroachments and overlaps
- Conduct Closings
- Familiarity with Simplifile and E-Closing is a plus.
- Be proficient with Microsoft and Excel.
