Title Agent Mayflower Title, Inc Tampa, FL 33625 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Title Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the title process for real estate transactions, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, contracts, and various aspects of loan processing. The Title Agent will work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Duties Conduct thorough title searches to verify property ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances. Prepare and review title documents, including contracts and escrow agreements. Coordinate with loan officers and other financial service professionals to ensure timely loan origination and processing. Analyze credit reports and perform credit analysis as part of the underwriting process. Ensure compliance with TILA regulations and other relevant legal requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to explain title insurance policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence related to title services. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process. Qualifications Proven experience in the title industry or related financial services field is preferred. Familiarity with loan processing, escrow procedures, and underwriting practices. Strong knowledge of contracts, TILA regulations, and real estate laws. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Ability to analyze financial documents and perform credit analysis. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
