Title Specialist 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 1020 Lake Sumter Landing, The Villages, FL 32162 Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for supporting the Closing process of real estate transactions by assisting with any Title related undertakings to ensure a smooth closing. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities:
Assist with all incoming title requests for pre-owned financed closings. Work closely with the closing staff of Peninsula Land & Title (PLT) in the preparation of Title Commitments, Title Searches, Title Policies and any other closing-related documentation necessary for closing real estate transactions. Responsible for being a point of contact for PLT’s management, Closing staff, Lenders, Buyers, Sellers, and Underwriters in all communications regarding title work as it relates to closings for customers of The Villages. Work directly with Sales Representatives, Buyers and Closers to obtain pertinent information regarding clearing of titles and/or contract issues. Read and understand computerized title information and translate that information into title commitments. All other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A good understanding of real estate closing procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
