We’re currently seeking a Title Clerk in Palmetto Bay, FL to join our centralized title team. This position is ideal for someone with auction experience who understands the urgency and accuracy required to manage title acquisition and tracking for a high-volume automotive dealership group.
Position Overview:
The Title Clerk – Auction Title Management will be responsible for locating, acquiring, and tracking vehicle titles —specifically for auction-purchased inventory across multiple store locations. This is not a retail title processing role, but may include it occasionally . The ideal candidate will have experience working with auctions, managing out-of-state titles, and following up persistently to ensure timely delivery and resolution of title issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact auction houses regularly to follow up on outstanding vehicle titles Communicate with internal departments regarding the status and ETA of titles Track and update title status in inventory management systems Research and resolve title discrepancies, delays, or missing documents Manage out-of-state title processes and associated documentation requirements Work closely with the inventory, accounting, and sales operations teams to ensure title availability aligns with company timelines Maintain organized digital and physical records of all title-related documents Ensure compliance with state and auction title regulations
Qualifications:
2+ years of title experience, preferably with a dealership group or auction house Familiarity with auction platforms (e.g., Manheim, ADESA, etc.) and their title procedures Experience handling out-of-state titles and resolving complex title issues Excellent phone and communication skills; strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and dealership/auction title tracking tools High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills:
