Job Description:

Auto Title Clerk Automotive company in the Mathews area islooking for an Auto Title Clerk. Temp to perm. $18 to $19/hour DOE.Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Summary:

We are seeking anexperienced and motivated Automotive Title Clerk to add to ourAccounting department. This position will work in tandem with ourcurrent retail title clerk. Successful candidates must haveexcellent communication skills, be detail oriented with a focus oncustomer satisfaction. Responsibilities (include but are notlimited to): Wholesale title work and wholesale billing Tradepayoffs Out of State Title Work Proper titling of new and usedsales for the dealership Assists with retail title transactionshelping to ensure new and use are processed timely in accordance toNCDMV regulations (350 – 400 retail and 100 wholesale) Preparestrade-in documentation Contacts banks to obtain lien releasesContact customers or vendors in a timely manner to follow-up withoutstanding title issues Prepares tax and title documents Verifythe costs and transactions for each vehicle sale Prepares necessarypaperwork for submission to the tag agency Ensures the company’stag and title work meets state requirements Prepare and submit alllegal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles(DMV) Provide additional administrative support as neededDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in allinteractions with customers, co-workers and vendors Assist withspecial projects as needed Provide back-up Accounting support asneeded

Requirements:

Prefer 3 or more years of title clerkexperience in an auto dealership or tag agency Knowledge ofout-of-state titles is a plus CVR Software (Title-Tec), preferredPrevious experience working in a busy office environment preferredStrong attention to detail Excellent follow-through skills Highschool diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and communication skillsKnowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
