$55,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)Company Overview We are working with a reputable and growing titlecompany specializing in residential and commercial real estatetransactions. They pride themselves on delivering accurate, timely,and efficient title services and are currently seeking a New YorkTitle Officer to join their team! Position Summary The TitleOfficer will be responsible for title searches, preparing titlecommitments, managing and disbursing closed files, clearing titleissues, and completing post-closing documentation. This is a remoterole handling approximately 15-20 files per month, primarilyresidential with occasional commercial transactions. KeyResponsibilities Prepare and review title commitments for accuracyRead and analyze title searches Resolve title issues and cleartitle for closing Disburse closed files, issue checks, mortgagepayoffs, and wires Prepare closing documents and final policiesConduct file reconciliations Maintain compliance with applicablestate regulations and company standards Communicate effectivelywith clients, lenders, attorneys, and team members QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in a title company setting (NYexperience required) Proficient in reading title searches andpreparing commitments and final policies Experience with Accutitlesoftware preferred Familiarity with residential and commercialtransactions in NY Strong organizational and communication skillsTitle Producer and/or Notary Public certification preferred How toApply If you meet the qualifications and are looking for a stable,remote opportunity in title, we’d love to hear from you!
