Title Review Associate Position Available In Albany, New York

Job Description:

A dynamic global law firm known for its excellence andinnovation in legal services, is seeking a Title review Associatewith experience in the real estate practice. Prior experience in alaw firm setting is preferred. Candidates must have strong academiccredentials and excellent writing skills. Candidates should enjoyworking with others in a team oriented setting. Writing sampleswill be required.

Experience:

5 years in real estate law, focusedon title reports, title curatives, and real estate surveys.

Qualifications:

Experience with title examination, issueidentification, and risk assessment in real estate transactions.

Familiar with reviewing real estate surveys. Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite, with advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel(including data entry and pivot tables). Knowledge with databasetracking systems and ability to maintain organized and accuratedocumentation of title review work.

Responsibilities:

Assist withreviewing and analyzing title reports, commitments, and relateddocuments. Identify title defects, exceptions, and encumbrances -assess legal risks and propose solutions Assist with negotiation oftitle insurance and insurance coverages. Draft title objectionletters and communicate effectively with title companies,underwriters, and opposing counsel Perform legal research on titlereview matters, legal developments, and communicate implicationsinternally. Maintain organized and accurate documentation of titlereview work and track deadlines.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.)from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials.

Licensed to practice law in New York State Excellent technical,written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to workcollaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensivesolutions to clients.

Salary:
