Title Clerk (Automotive) Greater Erie Auto Auction 7700 Avonia Road, Fairview, PA 16415 GEAA (Greater Erie Auto Auction) is a leading independent auto auction in northwestern PA, dedicated to delivering high quality customer services for used vehicles wholesale. Job Summary:

Greater Erie Auto Auction is seeking a Title Clerk to transfer ownership of vehicles for customers and assist in the office. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role involves profound knowledge of titles, and attention to detail to ensure titles are transferred correctly. The ideal candidate is task-oriented, and fastidious to provide excellent customer service, and adheres to all company policies and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Office

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from customers, sellers, and buyers regarding auction details, registration, and vehicle information.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting with registration, payment processing, and addressing any customer concerns during the auction.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate auction-related events, including inspections and viewings. 2. Titles
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of vehicles and titles for upcoming auctions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate with vehicle sellers and buyers to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Help in maintaining accurate inventory of vehicles for sale, including condition reports and auction details. 3. Penn Dot office
  • Follow State guidelines and mandates to properly submitted
  • Verify ownership and that the title is lien free
  • Work to print a new PA title in a timely matter
  • Ensure prior to issuance that the title is correct. 4. Safety and Compliance
  • Promptly report any breakdowns or maintenance needs to the Manager or Supervisor.
  • Keep work areas safe and free of hazards, following proper procedures for any accidents or injuries.
  • Make sure all work complies with local, state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of vehicle title processing experience
  • Dealership Experience
  • Experienced Notary
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in an auction, automotive, or retail environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing administrative tasks with precision.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well with diverse teams and customers.
