Automotive Tag and Title Specialist Harleysville Auto Tags Harleysville, PA 19438 Full Job Description Harleysville Auto Tags is seeking an experienced Automotive Tag & Title Specialist for our Harleysville, PA location! This position is responsible for developing, planning, and conducting Tag & Title developmental programs PA. Provide technical knowledge and service skills to help mentor associates to increase job knowledge. Conduct Tag & Title program review both in group setting as well as one on one at store. Responsible for initial Tag & Title workstation and file set-up at store to ensure quality and uniformity. Responsible for providing information and completing Tag & Title assessments to enable the store to significantly maintain the high level of DMV Audit ranking. Competitive pay The primary duties of the Tag and Title Specialist are to: Maintain the proficiency to process all types of Tag & Title transactions within assigned state. Plan, organize and conduct state specific developmental Tag & Title programs in the technical and customer service areas. Mentor in both, group setting as well as one on one. Develop, design and/or update job aids and reference materials such as outlines and procedural manuals to be created and/or distributed via hard copy. Publish and revise information as needed as well as performs as content expert. Evaluate the completion and accuracy of work and review prior months’ paperwork. Identify areas of the process that need clarification, provides coaching to Tag & Title authorized associates and uses the information to adjust the program and reference materials. Provide feedback to the associates and auditors as required. Respond to customer inquiries received. Respond to procedural questions via phone, e-mail and in person. Attend all relevant and/or required trainings/seminars for continuing education concerning DMV procedures. Remain current on policies and procedures, as well as new developments involving DMV Regulations. Serve as a primary backup to the job position of Tag & Title Administrator and capable of all job functions. Evaluate the accuracy and quality levels of information being provided to clients by observing interactions, reviewing recorded Tag & Title calls and quality service surveys. Provide feedback to the associate as well as the management. May apply for Department of Motor Vehicles [DMV] User IDs for associates and maintain DMV testing schedules and employee access logs. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three (3) years of related State specific Department of Motor Vehicle business-like experience including three years in a supervisory and training role. Must maintain a satisfactory criminal history and meet all state specific legal requirements for this job. Maintain state specific certifications and successfully complete exams within state specified time frame. In PA Only; obtain PennDOT Certified Trainer Certification designation within one year of hire. Notary Public designation. Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously in a multifaceted team environment while being detail oriented and organized with ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to learn, retain and communicate State specific Vehicle Code Regulations pertaining to Vehicle and / or Driver License applications required to complete client transactions. Working Knowledge of Department of Motor Vehicles [DMV] regulations, State specific computer programs and the ability to interpret documents such as technical data, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, preferred. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, Internet and competent keyboarding skills to accurately and efficiently complete daily work assignments.
