Arborist, Assistant Arborist and Tree Trimmers 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 1310 Ave Of The Stars, Coconut Creek, FL 33066 Established in 1974; our award-winning private Condominium Community in Broward County is currently searching for Arborist, Assistant Arborist and Tree Trimmers to join our Tree Care crew. guidelines and all government mandated policies. Tree industry licensing or certifications our Arborists possess are administered by Broward County and/or the International Society of Arboriculture. If you are ISA certified or can easily obtain your certification with minimal additional training, we would like to speak with you. A minimum requirement for this position, unless ISA certified, would be a Broward County Class B tree trimmers certification and would need to be obtained within a 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities Implements, monitors and enforces all safety standards for arboricultural operations approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI Z133.1). Implements all verbal and written work orders. Provides labor and technical knowledge regarding tree and palm pruning. Confers with peers and/or supervisor on special problems within the department. Maintains pruning schedules for the division. Has a significant role in contract preparation for pruning, installations and removals. Ensures that all equipment, including vehicles are cleaned and serviced regularly. Performs routine inspections of equipment and vehicles for safe and reliable operation. Inventories, inspects and recommends tree and palm pruning for Council and Association properties. Has a significant role in storm response. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Must have or exceed a valid Broward County Tree Trimmer I Certification. International Society of Arboriculture – Certified Arborist (preferred) Knowledge of current ISA pruning standards and county and municipality codes. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, residents and department heads. Initiative and resourcefulness of handling problems. Must be in good physical condition. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Smartphone experience is preferred (iPhone/Android) The applicant must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
