Arborist Lower Keys Tree Services Key West, FL 33040 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in tree trimming, lawn care, and garden management. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees while enhancing the beauty of our landscapes. This role requires proficiency in operating bucket trucks and other rigging equipment to perform various tree care tasks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Assess the health and condition of trees, providing recommendations for care and maintenance. Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Operate bucket trucks safely for high-altitude tree work. Conduct landscape maintenance, including lawn care and garden upkeep. Identify pests and diseases affecting trees and recommend appropriate treatments. Maintain equipment used in tree care and landscape maintenance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Educate clients on proper tree care practices and landscape management. Qualifications Proven experience in tree care, landscape maintenance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of horticulture, including growing conditions for various tree species. Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely. Familiarity with lawn care techniques and garden management practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Certification as an Arborist is preferred but not required; willingness to pursue certification is essential.
