Arborist Position Available In Orange, Florida

Arborist Labor Union Orlando, FL 32832 We are looking for an Arborist with experience in production, care, pruning, and moving with work that can include working from elevated platforms and in confined spaces. Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled routine arboriculture maintenance Operate Forklifts, Lull, box truck, ladder work, work at heights Climb trees using a rope and saddle Operate tools and equipment to include chainsaws, chippers and aerial work platforms (AWP) and bucket trucks May be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required and will be provided

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience within Horticulture or Agriculture subject areas Able to meet requirements for climbing aerial rescue guidelines Familiar with industry safety standards (ANSI Z133) and procedures (ANSI 300) Knowledge of southern tree species Able to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs Valid CDL Class “A” with air brakes endorsement – permit accepted 3rd shift role Speak and read English to communicate with guests

Preferred Qualifications :

Must obtain ISA certification within 1 year of starting Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices Proficiency in all aspects of tree transplanting and loading as well as pruning in natural and geometric styles Proper tree planting

Salary:

The starting wage for this job is $24.76/hour, with annual contracted wage increases up to more than $31.39 in your 4th year.
