The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaininpg the aesthetic and health of landscapes, trees, and gardens. This role reqAs a Groundsman, you will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that outdoor spaces are well-kept and thriving. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain safety. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for tree care tasks. Assist in landscape maintenance including planting, watering, and fertilizing plants. Conduct lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and aerating. Utilize GIS technology for mapping and managing landscape projects. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols while operating rigs and other heavy machinery. Skills Proficiency in growing various types of plants, trees, and shrubs. Experience with bucket operation for high-reaching tasks. Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and disease management. Familiarity with lawn care practices to maintain healthy turf. Understanding of GIS applications related to landscape management. Ability to operate a bucket truck safely in various environments. Skills in rigging techniques for safe tree removal or maintenance tasks. Experience in garden design and maintenance principles.
