Position Summary:

You will be responsible for trimming, pruning, planting, and maintaining trees across public properties. This includes parks, roadways, schools, and other government-maintained grounds. A solid understanding of safety, equipment handling, and government project standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Trim and remove branches using chainsaws, pole saws, and pruning tools Perform tree planting tasks according to municipal landscape plans and site specifications Operate heavy-duty equipment: chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts, skid steers Maintain clean and safe job sites in accordance with OSHA and contract regulations Load, transport, and dispose of brush and debris properly Follow contract scopes of work, safety procedures, and documentation protocols Work with crew leaders to meet project deadlines and compliance standards

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in tree trimming, planting, and grounds work Must have prior experience working on landscaping or tree-related government contracts Knowledge of

ANSI A300

pruning standards and local tree ordinances Comfortable working at heights and using rigging systems, lifts, and climbing gear (as needed) Able to lift 50-75 lbs and work in all Florida weather conditions Must pass background check and drug screening Valid Florida driver’s license preferred Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-focused Must know how to operate a lift and work from a crane Preferred (Not Required): CDL license or experience driving trailers with equipment Supervisory or foreman experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation & Schedule:

Full-time | 40 hours/week guaranteed

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (overtime possible) Long-term contracts with consistent workflow Opportunities for growth into crew leadership
