Job Functions:
Operate equipment such as wood chippers, hydraulic equipment, chainsaws, and more. Manually remove vegetation from work areas. Learn to operate a bucket truck and other equipment safely. Attain appropriate industry certifications and licenses. Obtain CDL and pesticide application certifications as required.
Qualifications:
Must be able to accept responsibility as well as follow written and verbal orders. Must be punctual and reliable. Should obtain and maintain first aid certification. Must pass EHAP (Electrical Hazards Appropriate Operating Procedures) and other relevant tests. Should possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing. Must meet the requirements for a medical card under FMCSA. Should be able to obtain and maintain licenses as required by the position. Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather and environmental conditions. Ability to walk on uneven ground and lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
Responsibilities:
Follow safety practices of the company. Conduct yourself in an orderly manner. Desire to improve basic skills. Knowledge of tools required for assigned job. Act with good public relations at all times; no littering, foul language, or horseplay. Assume additional duties as requested.
