JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Arborist Climber to join our tree care team. The ideal candidate has experience in climbing, knowledge of tree biology and structure, and a commitment to safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform tree removals, pruning, cabling, and canopy thinning at varying heights Use climbing gear, rigging systems, chainsaws, and aerial lifts Inspect trees for signs of disease, structural issues, or hazards Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols Communicate effectively with ground crew and team leaders Support job site clean-up and customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of climbing experience (DRT/SRT techniques) Proficient with chainsaw operation and rigging methods Knowledge of ANSI A300 and Z133 safety standards Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required) ISA Certified Arborist or LTCO is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable working at heights over 60 ft Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions Must pass a drug test and background check
