Arborist/Climber Bob Craig’s Tree Service 28 Cardinal Rd, Orangeville, PA 17859 Overview We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team, dedicated to the care and management of trees and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of tree care practices. This role involves working outdoors in various conditions, providing essential services that promote the health and longevity of trees while enhancing the beauty of our clients’ properties. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth and aesthetics. Operate bucket trucks safely for high-access tree care tasks. Conduct thorough assessments of tree health, identifying diseases, pests, and structural issues. Implement appropriate tree care techniques, including fertilization, pest management, and disease control. Maintain accurate records of work performed and tree conditions using GIS technology. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure cohesive care for gardens and lawns. Provide recommendations for landscape improvements based on observations and expertise. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in tree care or arboriculture is preferred. Familiarity with garden and landscape maintenance practices. Proficient in operating bucket trucks and other related equipment safely. Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and best care practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess tree health effectively. Experience with GIS technology is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license is required, CDL preferred; certification as an Arborist is a plus. $25.00 – $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
