Irrigation Technician 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Birmingham, AL 35209 Richter Landscape has an opening in the Irrigation Division. We are looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking individual to assist our Irrigation Manager in problem situations that happen year-round. Candidate must have two years’ experience with underground lawn sprinkler system repairs and installation.

Position Overview:

The irrigation Tech has knowledge of all aspects of underground sprinkler systems and can install, repair, and troubleshoot said systems. The tech works with minimal supervision and can assist in direction laborers on job site.

Responsibilities:

Assist in interactions with clients. Answer questions, respond to requests, make changes to plans when needed, and ensure job is completed in timely manner. Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors, especially during hot and cold weather conditions. Complete paperwork such as work orders, change orders, bids, material lists for jobs, etc. Coordinate, plan, and organize each job with other departments, outside contractors, clients, etc, and ensure that sufficient resources/materials are available. Read plans and implement to each team member. Operate vehicle and trailer combinations.

Operate mechanical equipment such as:

back hoes, trencher, skid steers, dingo, sod cutter, drills, etc. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Notify Director of Operations when machinery needs repairs.
