No experience is required but pay will be based on experience. We will train you. You just need to have a willingness to learn and to follow instructions. This is a full-time, outdoor position. Candidates will need their own reliable transportation to the farm. This position performs a variety of tasks related to the cultivation and harvesting of crops, caring for cattle, overall maintenance of the farm, and keeping the farm running smoothly. Feeding and watering livestock. Operating machinery and equipment, such as tractors and trucks. Must be in good physical condition, as the job involves a great deal of manual labor. Inspecting farm structures and equipment regularly, carrying out basic maintenance and arranging for repairs as needed. Plant, fertilize, and harvest crops. Assist with farm building repairs and maintenance tasks. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Operate or tend machinery used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain or repair farm vehicles, implements, or mechanical equipment.
