Job Description
Poultry Vaccination Technician I (B011) Express Employment Professionals in Decatur AL is currently hiring Poultry Vaccination Technician I for a company located in Elkmont, AL . Position is full-time and has potential for long-term employment.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Due to Biosecurity this is a Shower In/Out facility.
- These positions will be responsible for vaccinations, bird moves, male selection, grading and cleaning and disinfecting all equipment involved ensuring biosecurity.
- Routine handling and interacting with live poultry.
- Administer Vaccines (Injection, Spray, Drinking Water)
- Bird Handling (Bending and Stooping)
- Bird Move (Loading and Unloading)
- Bird Weighing (Grading)
- Washing and disinfecting all equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrists.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs.
- Bend and stoop repetitively throughout out
- Performing other duties as assigned. Ability to arrive at work on time.
- Perform job duties in an efficient and responsible manner.
