Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher / Scale Operator to join our operations team. This position plays a vital role in coordinating truck dispatches, managing scale operations, and ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of materials for our construction, mining, and hauling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using a scale system and generate accurate scale tickets Dispatch drivers based on delivery schedules and customer requirements Maintain communication with truck driver, management, and customers throughout the day Record and track load data, material types, and weights accurately Ensure all scale operations comply with safety and company procedures Handle documentation, filing, and basic administrative tasks related to logistics Answer phones and insert orders into the SMS system Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or equipment issues as needed Monitor real-time vehicle locations using dispatch software or GPS systems

Requirements:

Previous experience as a dispatcher , scale operator , or in a logistics-related role Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (familiarity with scale or dispatching software is a plus) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Customer service skills and professional phone/email communication
