Description:

Fulltime position for Francos Gardening, L.L.C.

Hydroponic Vertical Garden Technician will:

• Oversee quality assurance and planning of the processes developed for the realization o the Living Wall vertical garden projects;
• Incorporate the use of rhizospheric microorganisms (area of soil that surrounds plant roots) in vertical gardens;
• Use programs for the simulation for the design of the vertical garden;
• Plant nutrition: Assistance in the creation of the specific nutrient solution for each gardening both new projects and existing gardens;
• Assist with the research to optimize the development of the plants through the implementation of different nutrients;
• Assist with the maintenance of the existing gardens;
• Control the parameters of the gardens through the use of computers;
• Assist in the control of common bacterial, fungal and viral plant diseases;
• Participate in hydroponic Living Wall garden set-ups including planting and its hydroponic system.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field of study including coursework in hydroponic growing methods and their systems. Two-Years Experience

• Hydroponic Grower Technician in floral and/or vegetable hydroponic gardening.

Must be available on some Saturdays when needed.

Up to $40,206.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
