This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health and water efficiency. Responsibilities Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and surface irrigation. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages. Perform necessary repairs on irrigation components using hand tools and power tools. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and ensure proper placement of pipes and fittings. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into garden and lawn care plans. Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to promote healthy plant growth.
