Irrigation Technician Healthy Roots Landscaping 960 Bunker Ave, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in building and maintaining irrigation systems. This role involves working outdoors in various landscapes, including gardens, lawns, and commercial properties. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for ensuring efficient water distribution through irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth. Duties Build and install irrigation systems tailored to specific landscape needs. Irrigate and maintain existing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs of irrigation components. Dig trenches for piping installation and maintenance as required. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and longevity. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to support overall lawn care and garden health. Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements based on observed performance. Requirements Proven experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping and irrigation work. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as needed.
