Irrigation Technician Quail Village Golf Club 11655 Quail Village Way, Naples, FL 34119 Job Summary We are seeking to hire an Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems (preferably RainBird systems), with the ability to effectively install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for various landscapes. Also be able to mow grounds. This role requires hands-on experience with power and hand tools, zero radius rotary mower as well as mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient operation of irrigation equipment. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper coverage and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and install necessary components such as valves, pipes, and sprinklers. Work effectively with landscape maintenance teams . Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used. Skills Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor associated with landscaping tasks. Experience in lawn care practices that complement irrigation efforts. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
