Irrigation Technician Naples Irrigation and Lighting Naples, FL 34102 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to meet their irrigation needs while promoting sustainable practices. Responsibilities Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Repair or replace damaged components, including pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape design. Provide guidance on best practices for lawn care and garden irrigation to clients. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of system installations and repairs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology. Skills Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and garden management. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems effectively. Ability to dig trenches and build necessary structures for irrigation systems as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally and provide exceptional service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments. Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$23.00 – $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Year round work
