Job Summary:
The Irrigation Specialist will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of irrigation technology, water conservation methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, timers, controllers, and sprinkler headsInspect and maintain existing systems for functionality and efficiency Diagnose and repair leaks, electrical faults, and system malfunctions Program and adjust irrigation controllers for seasonal and weather-related changesProvide recommendations for system upgrades or water-saving improvements Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and team membersEnsure compliance with local water regulations and company standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience with irrigation systems (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of irrigation products and best practices Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals Familiarity with smart irrigation controllers and weather-based systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Irrigation certification (preferred but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
