Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in this order. This work order is
for qualified people to prepare and cook family-style meals for approximately 267 workers in a commissary. Workers will be asked to cook food and plan daily menus; wash dishes, bake breads and
pastries; order and shop for food and supplies; store food in designated areas, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and food spoilage; and be responsible to maintain and clean the work
area, equipment, utensils, dishes, etc. to ensure food is prepared in a sanitary work area. The Cook will also be asked to clean and maintain common living and dining areas, which includes gathering
and removing garbage. Workers will also be required to Perform manual labor to hand cut watermelons. Use hand tools such as shears and knives. Duties also include cleaning, loading, and unloading
harvested products, moving farm equipment . Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel and quality to ensure correct processing and usage.
Discard inferior or defective products and/or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel. Place
products in containers according to grade and mark grades on containers. Measure, weigh and count products and materials. Examine and inspect containers, materials and products to ensure that the
sorting specifications are met. Clean and maintain work areas. Must assist with all Good Agricultural Practice policies. Perform prolonged bending, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs. These activities may
included removing debris, boxes, discarded fruit from fields to clean growing area , pruning, painting trees, repair and or replace irrigation equipment , may maintain fence lines and moving farm
equipment . Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time. Following the Supervisors instructions, the worker will fulfill the following duties to
harvest and maintain fruit: . Beginning and ending times each day as well as the number of hours per day will vary depending on the work schedule of the workers to be fed. Workers must be able to lift
and carry 80 pounds on a frequent basis. Workers must have neat appearance with excellent hygiene and be available to work up to 6 days a week.
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) – $16.76 per hour

Hours:
44 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Friday 8 hours per day and 4 hours on Saturday.
Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.
Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance.
Family housing is not available.
Meals (Board): The employer will provide three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)and will be charged the
workers up to $15.88 per day. subject to change with publication of new rates by the USDOL
Office of Foreign Labor Certification in the Federal Register.
Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer’s job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer’s H-2A workers.
