The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for landscape maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to understand their irrigation needs and provide effective solutions. Duties Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, build system components, and make necessary repairs. Collaborate with the landscaping team to integrate irrigation solutions into garden designs. Provide lawn care services as needed, ensuring healthy growth and maintenance of landscapes. Troubleshoot problems with existing irrigation systems and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential. Experience in landscape maintenance, including gardening and lawn care, is highly desirable. Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in installation and repair tasks. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor associated with installation work.
