Irrigation Systems Technician Grounds Guys of Greater Carrollwood Tampa, FL 33604 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves working outdoors, ensuring that gardens and lawns are properly irrigated to promote healthy growth and maintenance of landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will utilize both hand tools and power tools to install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems effectively. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems for various landscapes, including gardens and lawns. Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing irrigation systems, including leaks or malfunctions. Utilize hand tools and power tools for digging, building, and maintaining irrigation components. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed. Educate clients on the importance of proper irrigation practices for their landscapes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred. Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems and techniques is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge related to the installation and repair of irrigation systems is essential. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as digging and lifting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for effective troubleshooting.
