Irrigation Tech 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 1002 East Shell Point Road, Ruskin, FL 33570 Are you a skilled irrigation technician with a focus on 2-wire systems? We are seeking a highly experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, with a particular emphasis on 2-wire technology.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including underground pipes, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads. Install new irrigation systems, following blueprints and industry standards, with a focus on 2-wire systems. Program and maintain 2-wire irrigation controllers to optimize water usage and efficiency. Perform routine inspections and maintenance, including winterization and spring startup. Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on proper irrigation system care, with a focus on 2-wire technology. Work effectively as part of a team and independently. Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance. In-depth knowledge of 2-wire irrigation systems and control technology. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience with various irrigation controllers and programming software, with a focus on 2-wire systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate irrigation equipment safely and efficiently. Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands:

Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform other similar actions during the workday.
